Jordan185 Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 I'm not sure what to do or think in this situation. I was unsure if this girl was interested. Lately she had been friendlier than usual. She offered to share a lane in the pool the other day with me and was challenging me. Today she came and sat next to me while I was at my work desk (I work at the front desk in a college gym so it's casual). She kept hitting me every time I would tease her. She brought up she had the day off tomorrow but didn't know what to do since her friends were gone. I didn't even think there so I didn't ask. Right before I left she said I should add her on snapchat and took my phone out of my hands and added herself on to my account. I saw her later and asked her if she would like to go hiking and she told me yes and gave me her number. I texted her about 4:30 my name, this afternoon and I haven't heard back from her. I'm not sure what to think about all of this or what to do?
preraph Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 It doesn't get much more straightforward than this. She gave you the opening to ask her out, but you let it go by. So ask her out now. Tell her you had to check her schedule. You could even lie and say you thought you were doing something Saturday, but now you're not and Let's go do something together. You pay so she knows it's a date. Act like a date. Don't act like just a friend.

I'm planning on doing something after as well and of course I will pay. Sometimes I just get confused in these situations and don't what to do next. Zubishiek Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 I think it’s crystal clear mate to most that what her intention is, so I don’t think you should waste any more time and go ahead, it’s important that we don’t waste such opportunity, it’s not really every day you get such open invitation, if I were in your place I would have not wasted a minute. Remember what they say "When opportunity knocks, answer the door!"

With that being said I don't doubt she flakes.
