NGC1300 Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Good fathers do not do drugs... Unless the drug is alcohol, caffeine, or approved by big pharma. Then drug use is magically ok.
NGC1300 Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Bah meth used to be a common weight loss drug. We give it to fighter pilots to stay awake on long missions. And we give it to kids with ADHD. Sure, they only get "amphetamine" but that little CH3 doesn't make much difference. Best post in the thread. To the sheep, it's only a "drug" if it's illegal. And of course, all users are intrinsically addicts and destroying their lives.
PogoStick Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 OMG.... this is the worst post I have read on this forum in a long time. You are equating crystal meth with dextroamphetamine and amphetamine given therapeutically? Yes, let's let fighter pilots and heck, how about even commercial pilots start smoking crystal meth since it's so harmless? Unbelievable. Check out the PRESCRIPTION drug Desoxyn...aka Methamphetamine, prescribed for ADHD and weight loss. Yes, the pharmacology of amphetamine and methamphetamine are extremely similar which is why they have similar effects. No surprise there. Then we call one drug "good" and give it to kids for ADHD, and call one drug "bad". Ironically, meth used to be sold over the counter under the name Methadrine. Go ahead and google it. One of my college professors used to take it for weight loss and to keep from being hungry when she worked long shifts in a factory. What a horrible, evil woman she must have been. You should be in jail Mrs Shaeffer! And fighter pilots already receive "go pills".

I think the Op seemed to quite nicely put this to a tidy summation rather quickly. I remain befuddled as to the authenticity. Yet as my grand daddy said, its your tale , make it a good one! Sometimes instincts outweigh the words...
