Has anyone heard of this? Apparently this is all the rage in the past week or so.

Kate was on a mission for pizza, not love, so rather than filtering through matches based on their photos, she would “swipe right” on every profile. Then she’d wait for one of her new matches to make the first move.

“When they said something like ‘Hey, how’re you doing?’ I would respond, ‘Hungry, can you order me a pizza?’ Some guys were more willing than others.”

Huh. I'm amazed that worked. It's weird how many guys went with it...and then didn't try to follow up by asking for a date or anything. I suppose they knew they were being taken advantage of, so they tried to play it cool afterwards.

I had to laugh at her advice at the end of the article, though: "Don't send dick pics. Send pizza."

Well...I doubt either one will score a guy a date but it's certainly true that pizza is a thousand times more welcome.

Yea, it's pretty interesting... a metaphor for male/female dating paradigms. I wonder what would happen if, after she had enjoyed a dozen or so free pizzas, one of those nice guys said, oh I'm busted 'til payday and I'm hungry- would you consider sending me a pizza?

I'm amazed that anyone is amazed at this. Majority of guys will do almost anything just to interact with a girl they find attractive, even if a possible date isnt in the cards. Go to ANY store anywhere, and you will see most of the guys pick the checkout with the hot chick on the cash register. Guys get the biggest ego boost over sh*t like that. They love it because they girl is forced to interact with them, she cant walk away, and shes stuck listneing to his stupid joke, or other flirty comments while shes ringing him up, and it makes him feel like hes a hot stud because she smiles at him.

Yeah, I can't really blame her for getting away with it, but it also says a lot about the state of online dating.

If you are someone who never gets a response and all of a sudden you get one from a girl and she asks you for a pizza, you just might do it if you think it gives you a chance.

Personally, I'd tell her to go scratch but I know that's not the case for everyone.

Kudos to her, in a way, because at least she didn't waste the guys' time by having them take her out to dinner and build up their hope. At least she cut to the chase of what she wanted from these men.

I read one earlier this year about a woman on Tinder who was getting men to go over to her place and shovel her car out of snow. Couldn't stop laughing.
