Weird story. A while ago, I had quit online dating as I had gotten tired of the bad dates and horror stories.

I just created a profile on POF since I'm going to a new city. I created pretty most the most honest profile of me I could think of, slapped a few pictures on boards and just looked for conversation and maybe a few friends.

Natsu2020 I'll, leave, this, area, blank., It's, great, conversation. Here is my profile.

I went on random profiles and critiqued(bluntly, but not outright mean) the women's profile. At the time I did not care about being ignored cause all I wanted was just conversation to pass the time.

I woke up the next day and I had 10 messages in one day.

The messages ranged from a couple of disgusted people, to 6 of those showing strong interest in conversation. I wasn't used to this at all. When I wanted to date...I could barely get recognition.

Well a while ago, this very attractive and fit woman found me and hit on me. I wasn't used to it, being that most women who hit on me are obese. But I gave her a chance. Within 10 minutes of conversation I saw how vapid she was...it turned me off.

I did like the attention, but I told her she wasn't my type and I wished her luck.

I feel kind a guilty because she was very attractive. I just wasn't feeling her. She was kinda dumb and redneckish. Am I wrong to pass off a girl who I find attractive just because she's a boring conversationalist?

There are s couple of women on there who could be potential interests.

Guys...have you told an attractive girl no because she was boring? How did you break things off with her?

Ironic. If you hadn't cared about her being boring because she was just too pretty to ignore, you would have been labelled "shallow". No, to me this is perfectly fine.

You turn down pretty girls just like you would with any other girl. It's not like you work with her or something, she's just an online contact. Easy to ignore and let her take the hint.

Back then, I have everyone a chance at a date...but bad date after bad date and I learned that I can't be in the same room with a Boring conversationalist who doesnt put in any effort to talk.

Butbsee, she was relatively way more physically attractive than my other females I talk to. But a couple of them I find interesting. She was just a pretty face.its like seeing a unicorn, only when you get your hands on it you find that its legless.

You simply say that you've enjoyed the time spent with her and that you don't feel you two are a good match. You don't mention specifics or be critical in any way. If she is mature, she will accept that graciously.

You were smart to avoid the situation. Intellectual incompatibility can not be fixed nor improved upon. ;)
