Since this is the coping forum, lets try something proactive. If we lament to long over an ex we are just screwing ourselves. So lets get some humor up in here. Sometimes realizing how human our ex really is can get us through the night. The topic is: what is the most ridiculas outfit you have seen your ex wear?

I'll go first. I used to live in Nor Cal, my ex came to visit (from Texas). I don't know what she was smoking, but she rolled up into the hotel wearing a rinestone cowboy shirt (nothing cowboy about her). I guess that wouldn't be bad normally, however, the rinestones were so "loud" I almost had a seziure. I felt like that dude in 2001 space odyessy "My God, its full of stars". Its not good when children are trying to put chrstmas decorations on your sh*t, when walking through the lobby. She was wearing some interesting boots (from italy, I think) they were so sharp at the toe, she could have been a stunt double for one of those Keebler elves. She kicked me in the shin at dinner by accident (2 years later I still have a dent in my shin) lol.

My EXH used to have a pair of shorts that were freaking horrible!

LOL They were purple (YES PURPLE) Plaid.. came down to almost his Knee's, they were about 2 sizes to small... and he liked to wear them with Hiking boots

I hated those shorts so damn much! LOL I didn't want to go out any where with him because people would stare.. NOW of course I would encourage him to wear those b*tches BUT I think they would be a good 4 sizes to small for him now AND I wouldn't want my Little People to have to suffer while walking around with his retarded a** as he tells people "Those are my Kids":lmao:

My most recent ex never looked bad (fashion-wise). He had more clothes than me!! He was stylish, yet incabable of real class because of his attitude---in my opinion.

But the ex before him was occassionally stylishly challenged.

I was recently looking through some pictures of him and in the photo he is wearing orange, blue and brown stripped shorts with an electric blue long sleep button up shirt on---unbottoned (wrinkled) with a t-shirt underneath that had writing on it in red. It was such a site. Usually he wasn't that off, but man I almost had to laugh when I saw that picture. Plus he had long hair and had his hair in a pony tail---with a baseball cap on and his tail pulled through the back of the cap---NOT PRETTY. He had a good personality--let's just say.

Well, not my ex, but my husband---sometimes will wear his briefs (2 sizes too big) pulled up to his armpits and walk around in those and an authentic German M1935 Helmet (also a bit too big for his head). Just to mess with me. :p

I also have a pic of him back in the day wearing a blue polyester jump-suit, bell bottoms, WiDe white patent leather belt, white platform (also patent leather) shoes, open collar print, polyester shirt collar-over the collar of the jump-suit and with big cuffs rolled over the long sleeves of the jump-suit, with pookah necklace.

I also have a pic of me wearing fake suede bell-bottom jeans, red fake suede short coat with LOTS of big silver zippers & yes, fringe, a red & white wide brim hat (w/ Mickey Mouse on it) and a bright red patent leather platform shoes with big chunky heels, and my hair parted in the middle and hanging down with a beaded band around my forehead and a flower behind my ear, and also a big wide white PL belt!!! And of course, we were both wearing mood rings!

And these were both taken before we had ever met!!!

Ah yes, those were the days!

My ex is the worst when it comes to fashion. I'm not sure he's even bought any new clothes in the past few years. His staples are old jeans, worn out black biker boots, and a t-shirt. His idea of getting dressed up is to throw on a long sleeve biker shirt with flames going down the arms. Gawd.

My ex wasn't the flashiest dresser either, but he never tried to be. During the course of our relationship, though, he gradually worked more sweaters and button-down shirts into his routine as opposed to t-shirts 24/7.

I have to admit I bought him a fair share of the clothes he now owns! It always seemed like a good staple for birthday/Christmas presents and such. Guess now he'll go back to the t-shirts.

In recent months he did start wearing this old-Western style belt. I chalked it up to him being cute but now I'm allowed to confess my true opinion: where's he going, a shootout at the OK Corral?!? You just don't do that sort of thing around here!!!

Contrition. Didn't suit her
