endlessabyss Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Good luck with that. If I was you I'd avoid that drama. That is the best advice I could give.
No Limit Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Well, first you gotta find out if she's single. If she's taken you'll have to ask other people how to handle the situation as I have no clue and frankly don't care to know, but if she's single you may have to get used to the idea of a fifth wheel - the father of the baby - hanging around every once in a while. To protect yourself it would also be best to not get too attached to the kid, while at the same time feigning affection 'cause most single mothers won't be around for long if the guy starts complaining about the tight schedule for dates etc. Well, yeah, it's also bound to be stressful and perhaps drama involved. Good luck.
I_Squared_R Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 How do you know that she's a single mother? Did you ask or she voluntarily told you? If she decided to share that information with you then she might be interested in you. Some women carry shame when they are a single mother and don't like to share that with people they aren't comfortable with. She might have been hinting something to you. I wouldn't let a child become a barrier. You two might hit it off and after time you could potentially become emotionally attached with the child. Caring for a child doesn't require that you are biologically related to the child. It happens alot more than you'd think. Just don't go in to this with the intention that you don't have to become involved with the child. 1
Omei Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 (edited) Good luck with that. If I was you I'd avoid that drama. That is the best advice I could give. You know nothing about this girl what drama? OP if you like her get to know her if shes a good mom her kid/kids wont be in the picture for a long time to come get to know her first as a person. Don't do what most men do write her off because you fear shell have some kind of drama or problems because shes a single mother (people are single parents for all kinds of reasons) find out what kind of person she is there are some amazing single moms out there.
