havocser Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I felt like I was, I took a year and a half off and have been dating for the last 5 months, one of my good friends would say I'm a "serial" dater. I don't look at it as that though, I feel like I just really know what I want but I suppose I could be being too picky. There was one guy I was genuinely interested in but I tried to DTR with waaaaaaaay too soon out of excitement and scared him away, and I suppose you could say I'm halfly interested in a coworker right now but I have no idea where he stands and the one person I've talked to about it says he has no idea what he wants - so I'm going to casually keep seeing him if he's into it. Problem is, I actually have no idea what I want either (relationship wise) like I know what I want in a guy, absolutely hands down but I just don't know what I want out of a relatkonship. Would you consider that being unready? What I'm really asking, is, what are YOU looking for when you start seeing someone? I just would like to hear different perspectives/opinions on the dating realm. When you start seeing someone are your dreams and hopes focused on long term committal or do you just date to have flings?
cessna Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 No idea what DTR is/means... I never knew dating was so full of acronyms!

Author havocser Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 It means define the relationship, and in retrospect I didn't even really do that, I just asked for sexual exclusivity after about a month - but he obviously was the player type.
