Jakk Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Hello, I really need help. I've just upset my girlfriend and I'm SUPER paranoid about everything so please help me. We were doing some shopping together and she kinda flipped at this store manager, I said I thought it was unneccessary and she started crying. She said that it wasn't about me but I said the wrong thing at the wrong time and I guess it just set her off. I can't help but think I made her cry and I feel terrible. We're both in love and this is horrible. I just dropped her off at her's she said she forgives me but she was really short with me. I'm really worried about it. Should I call her? Please help me soon! Jakk.
curiousnycgirl Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Give her some time to chill out. I would wait until tomorrow. If you really can't wait to tell her you are concerned, drop her an email. Sounds like for whatever reason she was at an emotional point - that's all.
Merin Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 She probably started crying because she may have felt stupid at jumping on the store manager to begin with... and for real when people do this.. they always want thier SO to have thier back and tell them how right they were! LOL It may have seemed to her that you were not taking her side, know what I mean? I dunno.. if you're that upset about this then give her a call in a little while and tell her that you are on her side... that you can see her point (about whatever she flipped on the manager about) and you hope she knows you've got her back like that.... Good Luck
whichwayisup Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 She's right. It wasn't about you. Some women when they really mad and lose it, the 'cry' bit just happens. Men wanna put a fist through the wall and need to simmer off by doing something physical. We need to release the emotional part of it. So, don't make it about you. Bring her flowers tomorrow and tell her you love her. Leave it at that. IF she wants to talk about it, listen to her but don't bring it up or ask her again if she's angry with you. And, if she is mad at ya, you'll know it soon enough! (But you have nothing to worry about. Do the flower thing!)

Oh boo hoo hoo JAKK. You made your g/f cry and hurt her feelings. Well what about YOUR feelings and needs??? Grow a spine and be a man. What??? you need validation from females to justify your existence. WTF!!!! So what if you pissed her off. Who cares man! Big f***king deal! Trust me, she'll get over it. And if she does not get over it, good riddance I say.

johan Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 You aren't obligated to take her seriously when she's acting like a nut case. Respect her, but if she's going to act foolish, then she should take the consequences. Just be steady and honest and let her little storm blow through like you didn't notice.
HotCaliGirl Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I don't think you should reward her with flowers for her behavior. It will only make her do it more often.

Then she'll wonder what she can score if next time she not only gets pissy with the manager of the store but actually kicks his a** in aisle 12 I need to take Med's more often!! I'm killing myself and I'm pretty sure I'm not at all funnae..
HoldOn Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Yeah, I want to agree that the crying thing was not your fault. When I get angry or upset, tears are just the natural result. I mean, I've cried because of TV commercials. Tears aren't as big a deal as you think.
