Do you think he still likes me?

I'm contemplating on approaching this guy, but I don't know if he likes me anymore. I need your help in analyzing this. Based on this, do you think he still likes me?

A year and a half ago, I got on the bus and noticed this guy was stealing glances at me. He did this during the entire 20 minute ride. I saw him a few times again, and he would still look at me, act jittery, and stood next to me on the bus. One day he got off on my stop and basically walked in front of me into my workplace, but he didn't say anything to me. It was like he wanted to get my attention or even say hello, but he must've chickened out.

 

Anyway, after following me to work, I saw him 3x again on the bus, but I never showed him that I liked him. I didn't know I liked him until later. The day that I realized I liked him, he stopped taking my bus. I looked for him for months and never saw him again. Then 3 months later, I finally saw him again and I went to sit by him. He had his earbuds on already, so it didn't give me a good chance to say anything. He never turned to look at me until I got off on my stop and started to walk away.

 

He didn't take that bus again. I saw him 2 months later waiting for another bus. When I saw him in line, his eyes were looking up to the ceiling like he didn't want me to notice him or that he wanted to avoid eye contact with me. When we both got on the bus, he went to sit way in the back. He usually sits in the front and because of the way he didn't want to look at me, I was hurt and did not go sit by him. I seriously thought he didn't like me anymore after this event and after thinking he had been taking a new bus to avoid me.

 

Recently I saw him again on a bus and I was waiting outside. I saw him look at me from the bus and then he turned away immediately when I caught him. He had a shy, embarrassed smile on his face when I caught him. He usually has an angry resting face.

 

So, what do you think? I want to approach him, but he's been giving me mixed signals.

If I read this correctly you've never spoken to him, so what do you mean by still likes you? Smiling at someone a few times on a bus doesn't mean someone is interested. It seems if he were interested, he would have at least spoken to you after all this time.

 

But speak to him instead and just see what happens. It can't hurt anything.

I seriously thought he didn't like me anymore -- You didn't KNOW that he liked you at all. He may have found you attractive. Men look at attractive women. He's not giving you mixed signals. Unless he actually comes to you, has a conversation with you and asks for your number, he is just a guy you see on a bus or at the stop once in a while who looked at you.

 

All that being said, you could strike up a conversation with him, but don't expect anything.
