Author Greekbrah Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 If you are so sure that you would not feel worse and that you'd get closure then why are you posting on here asking for opinions? It seems like you're dead set on sending her a final text to get your closure so why not just do it? I don't mean to sound rude but it seems kind of pointless to create a topic asking if you should or shouldn't do something but in the end you're going to do it anyways because you have your own "justifications". yeah my bad i worded that wrongly, I just want other people's opinions on this matter
Satu Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Closure comes from inside when you reach the point where you're at peace with the way things worked out. Even if you send her the letter, closure will still have to come from inside. 1
AlwaysAKL Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 I say if you honestly are doing this for yourself, send the text. I did this with my ex and wasn't expecting a reply and did not get one but I felt such a weight lifted off me to have my say, whether he cared or not....

Great thanks for your reply, like you i do not expect a reply, im simply doing it to get the "weight off me"
imbax Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 I would suggest to type the text out, but wait a few days before you send it. You will then realise how pathetic and embarrassing the text sounds. Your mind changes so much in a few days. Trust me on this one! If however, you feel that your thoughts and emotions have not changed, then by all means, send it! You are not going to lose anything for waiting a few days.
