Too charming? Reminds me of an ex.

So I met someone on Tinder who is about 15 years older than me (I'm almost 26 and he's 40). I think he's been married before and has kids, so that right there means little chance for any true romance. But hey, I'm newly single and wanting to meet new people so I'm not thinking much of it (I'd assume he's not either if he's using Tinder).

ANYWAYS, what's weird is how overly charming and personable he is and how similar it all feels to a previous "relationship" I had 6-7 years ago. This current guy isn't charming in the sense that he's cheesy and overly romantic. He's very inquisitive, outgoing, witty, spontaneous-ish, and open. I don't know, guys. It's weird. Have you all ever met someone like that? Just so much fun to be around that it's almost too much? He apparently has a wonderful relationship with his ex-wife, his kids, and most of his ex-girlfriends. He said "Past relationships become a part of you and deserve to be treasured and not thrown away" or some bull**** like that. Having ex-girlfriends as friends is one thing, but just describing your past relationships with such philosophy just screams "bul****". He's also involved in a lot of different activities- outside of his main job (which i think involves owning a restaurant), he plays competitive pool, DJ's, ballroom dances, and probably does some type of craft that I'm forgetting about.

My ex was this exact way and I learned about so many red flags in that relationship- he was a great conversationalist, could get along with everyone (I had a bonfire one day and I introduced him to some of my friends and from that day on, they always wanted him to come over and hang out), hilarious, outgoing, big on making "memories"..just 'too' good. I slowly found out he was a horrible person who was very manipulative, selfish, and untrustworthy. Nobody else saw that side though unless they knew him well. Kind of reminded me of a sociopath (exaggerating- well, a little bit).

So now I'm here with this guy. Both are incredibly handsome, by the way. My ex is hands down the most attractive man I've ever been with- lawdy. Anyways, I just don't know what to think of people like this- there is so little bad to be seen that it just makes you wonder what they're hiding. I might watch too much Investigation Discovery, but I'd rather be paranoid than stupid.

All the time. As men age they get better at sweeping you off of your feet with words. You only see smoke but a woman his age probably would see right through him. Explains why he's out there chasing 26 yo.

Or maybe it's because she's 26

Data mine, mirror, go after soft target, with a really good line for keeping multiple women in orbit. Love how he shut down the option to ever question what he is doing with women used to be intimate with. Part of him forever.....want to go on a long ride.
