I believe in being realistic. Optimism is a recipe for denial. The lie always feels good. The truth always feel uncomfortable.

Therefore I don't bother asking women out who are in a higher league than myself. I am realistic about what I have to offer and I embrace myself as it is. I'm not going to be attractive to every woman that I come in contact with and I accept that. Even if a woman above my league was asking me out I would feel an obligation to turn her down and at least pretend that I'm not interested. I believe in playing it safe in dating.

I don't believe in leagues. I think anybody can talk to anybody at any given time. It's all about confidence.

So oddly in a way I sort of agree with you. If you look at a woman & think no way will she talk to you, she won't but not because she's a snob but because you never tried.

Confidene business is overrated. What that basically says is that only confident people are worthy and deserving of love and intimacy.

That's about the saddest thing I've heard all day.

Not really. The saddest thing I get out of this forum is that it is pretty much wrong to have a crush on a woman for 9 months.
