The point is though is that even with these changes you are still being YOURSELF! Like I said, you still have the same values, integrity, compassion, and HEART as you did before. And even "those* things need tweaking from time to time!

If you are a bit shy for example, don't try to be Mr. Gregarious, the life of the party to impress some chick, it won't work.

In short, don't PRETEND anything just to impress some chick! That is called being disingenuous. phony and intellectually dishonest. And chicks WILL pick up on that and become turned off by THAT!

Hopefully, when you go out with chicks you are still being your genuine and authentic self and NOT *pretending* to be someone or something you are not to impress some chick.

Confident men with high self esteem and self respect are always true to themselves FIRST, and have no need or even desire to be anything other than who they are on a basic fundamental level in an effort to impress anyone, let alone some chick they just met.

It's true, I'm proud of my values. I'm compassionate and politically liberal. Many of my jobs have involved helping people in some form. I state early in my dating profile that I'm not interested in dating political conservatives because our values and world view are vastly different. I also don't waste my time with princesses or stuck-up types, or women who play games.

I am also introverted but I force myself to do uncomfortable things. I became a mobile DJ for 2 years which involved announcing important events (proms, weddings) in front of hundreds of people. But hell I was always nervous just doing a class presentation in front of 20 people. I also go to meetups and socialize with complete strangers which can be nerve wracking. If I let myself be who I "naturally" am I'd probably be hiding on the couch watching TV.

I can be nervous meeting a woman for the first time too. But somehow my act works because most women say I appear relaxed and confident.

I'm just willing to be honest about my faults and make an effort to improve them.
