40 Fonzarelli Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I'm really tired of the same bar scene. I'm too old to be clubbing in my 30's. I was at Whole Foods the other day and saw tons of cuties. But I never thought of hitting on girls in the grocery store. I just grab my things and leave. Does it come off too thirsty trying to hit on girls in there? I feel like I might be bothering them.
CarrieT Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I live in San Francisco. The Safeway in the Marina district is a well-known spot for pick-ups...
No Limit Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 It really depends on the situation. Personally I always have one earphone so I do listen music while shopping 'cause I just want to be done with it. Help while carrying the bags would get my attention, but I guess the majority of girls would just take advantage of it and then turn their back on you moments later. Meh, tough call.
Clarence_Boddicker Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 They can be good places to flirt. Most girls are open to chatting if you have a food related question.
neowulf Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Eh, this whole wondering up to complete strangers and trying to pick them up is tedious. I'm trying to find social situations where people are at least *open* to meeting other people. Half the time I end up feeling like some kind of door to door salesman...
