OP, I've busted on you in the past for being superficial about some things but on this I am in complete agreement with you. This is one thing you don't lie about. It is a deal breaker for some people - like yourself. For me, it is the opposite. While I have dated women without kids in the past I do so with great trepidation and honestly, it has never worked out. When I was using OLD I usually had my filter set to only see women with kids - for two reasons: 1) i'm a parent myself and find it difficult to be with someone who isn't a parent. 2) I m not looking to have any more kids and a large portion of the "no kids" crew does want to have kids. Wouldn't be a fit. So ya, I don't understand why someone would lie on this topic unless it was oversight. My step-daughter has 4 kids, she puts she has 2, she is also a victim of judgment on there. She feels her 2 oldest being over 18 they don't really count, and the 2 others are under 5 so they're the one men need to know about. I beg to differ but that is her take on it. On the other hand I have a daughter of 27. At the question if I have kids I always put 1. Do I really need to thou? All of this is up for interpretation by everyone. How long you've been doing online? These are all common things to happen when you meet online, just a regular day of dating. People lie. I have a whole list of what men lied about to me. I role my eyes and move on, I don't even try to understand why they felt it was necessary to lie.
