Chr15 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 If you arrive to a (first) date that is an activity and the guy has already bought tickets in, what's the best thing to do? Just say thanks and accept? Say thanks and offer to pay for your ticket? Say thanks and offer to pay for something else - something later on the date (if there will be an opportunity e.g. food/drink/ice-cream)? I think offering to pay for the next date would be too much seeing as you don't even know how the first date will go
Gary S Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Just thank him and pay for something else when there is an opportunity, or you can pay for the next date if you want. 1
Mrin Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Oral. Ok kidding!!! It has just been a week apart from my soulmate and now my mind is in the gutter. Ya just pick up something else like drinks. In fact that is a great way to extend the date of you want. "Hey since you bought X let me buy you a cocktail".
DoesntGetIt Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 If he already bought the tickets, he did so planning to pay for them. You can offer out of niceness, and he will kindly refuse (and won't be bothered you offered), or you can wait until some other opportunity comes up and offer to pay for that since he got the tickets.
carhill Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 If you arrive to a (first) date that is an activity and the guy has already bought tickets in, what's the best thing to do? Enjoy the date, irrespective of whether or not you find him attractive and want to date him further. Just say thanks and accept? Yup. Say thanks and offer to pay for your ticket? Nope. Say thanks and offer to pay for something else - something later on the date (if there will be an opportunity e.g. food/drink/ice-cream)? Nice gesture, and appreciated. I think offering to pay for the next date would be too much seeing as you don't even know how the first date will go IMO, take each date as it comes. If you enjoy the man's company, you may also enjoy planning and paying for a future date. If you feel like doing that, do it.
d0nnivain Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Say thank you & accept graciously. Offer to pay for something else during the date like drinks or dessert.
PegNosePete Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Say thanks and offer to pay for something else - something later on the date (if there will be an opportunity e.g. food/drink/ice-cream)? Yes, this. 1
