youdunsay Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 My close friend is invited to another friend of hers housewarming party. My friend casually asked me and another friend of ours to attend. She said the hosts welcome anyone. I thought it was kind of cool to meet new people but then again we don't know the hosts personally. Do you think it would be thick skin for us to go?
d0nnivain Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 The person who invited you knows the homeowner hosts. Some people are cool with others showing up. If the person who invited you knows this, it's fine. Another way to look at it is that you are your friend's "date". . . not in a sexual way but as in a buddy way. Since it's a housewarming, bring a plant & a bottle of something. Go have a good time. 1
