We made out briefly on the fourth date but other than that we've just been doing the goodnight kiss at the end of the date. A couple of weeks ago she parked near my apartment so I could drive us downtown. At the end of the night I asked her If she wanted to come up for some tea, she laughed and said that she had to get home but followed it up with a "next time" It's pretty obvious what "tea" actually means and I didn't want to come on too strong so on date #5 I decided to see if she'd invite me back to her place but it didn't happen. After 5 dates can I just straight up ask her if she wants to come over for a movie?
fitnessfan365 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I don't see anything wrong it. I mean you've done four public dates so far, just focused on kissing her goodnight, etc.. So you've shown you're genuinely trying to get to know her, and acting like a gentleman in the process. However, you have to escalate at some point. By now she should trust you enough to be alone with you. But my only advice would be don' "ask" her to come over for a movie. Be more confident and assertive. Call her and say "Since you've been such a blast to hang out with so far, I'm going to cook you dinner at my place. When are you free?" Then let's say she says Fri. So you say "Great. You pick up a bottle of wine and a Redbox movie on your way to my place and we'll do dinner and a movie in. I'll see you Fri @ 8:00" 1
