I known this girl 11 years and know she is a respectful, kind and caring girl. I come out of a relationship 7 months ago due to been cheated on. I still get my days where I feel scared with this girl. As days go on I feel more comply around her and when I am on my own. Since I spent more time with her the pain is going away slightly too. Does this take time feel relaxed around her? She knows that happened to me in the past and I have NC with the cheating ex all though we work together. Thanks.
devilish innocent Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 The insecurities from being cheated on can last for a while. You shouldn't let it stop you from having other relationships. Remind yourself that this girl is not the last one. Focus on what is good in your relationship, and don't do anything to damage it. The best way to overcome the insecurity is to decide that you will not let it control you. 2
