sowhynot Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Hello everyone. Third post and coincidently, Day 3 of NC. Not going to break it, ugly and old enough to know better. But - I do admit to a bit of self wallowing by StreetViewing places we visited together - mostly a holiday in France, and yes, geting a bit misty eyed over silly things, things like the menu board outside the place where we ate on the first day which you can just about see on the StreetView page. It's the same one we looked at together 3 months later when we were there.... But the thing is that right now - probably helped by several pints of booze - is that while I would give damn near anything to turn the clock back to be there again with her, or absolutely everything for a different future where we hadn't broken up, I'm just glad we did it it at all. Suppose it's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.....
itsdinaah Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Sitting around and wallowing is going to make the breakup even harder. The best way is to do something to distract yourself from thinking about her. Start excersing, pick up a hobby, start volunteering, do anything to keep yourself busy. After a while of NC you will begin to see things with more clarity. Best of luck. 1

Vaguely started already with a bit of a garage tidy - didn't want to do it but I felt better once I'd started - just doing something to get my mind onto something else.. One day - or should that be one minute - at a time . . . . .
