You only need to find one good one. Gary I only did that because she answered the first call after our date and the second one. So not sure why it all changed a week ago, maybe another guy. However, he just doesn't know how to execute. It's like having food put in front of you constantly when you're starving and not having the instinct to eat. If it's online, I get a number within two emails usually. I send her a text so she has my number, exchange a few, and then ask when she's free to talk on the phone. Then I do one ten min call. If she seems cool, I just cut to the chase and have her out on a date within 2-3 days. Believe it or not, a lot of women like guys that go after what they want. All this phone interaction does one of two things. She either gets bored and blows you off like this one. Or you create expectations based on who you think she is on the phone, and the first date is awkward. Hence why you can't ever get past a first date. But SMG, I'm rooting for you dude. Since you get numbers pretty often, I hope you eventually get over your obsession with the phone and actually start going out on multiple dates with one woman.

He won't finalize plans with a woman until he's had THREE phone calls with her. Not to mention the texting that he does with them too. So my guess is that women either get bored waiting, or there's too many expectations built by the time the date happens. Then both of them feel pressure and awkward. That's why trying to "get to know" a woman before you meet with her, actually does you a dis-service. Get a number, exchange a few texts, do one call, and make plans. Get to know her and see if there is chemistry in person. It's that simple.

I've had about equal success on both, in fact now that I think about it, my 3 longest relationships post divorce including the one I'm in now for 3 years are from POF and OJK Cupid, both free sites.

Texting is always easier when I don't know someone too well yet. But that's just me. Maybe that's what's up with her in this case.

For some women talking on the phone is more personal and they like it when they warm up to a guy. Texting allows a woman to keep more distance at first. So it actually makes sense since she needs time to become more emotionally involved. I will say though, that in my experience, a lot of women still like it when a guy actually calls them in the beginning. You wouldn't think so in today's society since everyone texts. However, in a lot of cases I think texting is done more out of necessity because no one calls. I try to call clients, my friends, my folks, women I date, etc as much as possible instead of texting. I just don't like it. The two things texting is good for, is a quick confirmation of something and for fun flirty banter, and sexting when things heat up eventually. Seeing suggestive comments in writing lets the imagination flow.

The last 2 dates was a lot better and Im sure the next 3 will be even better than the last two I wasn't upbeat, flirty, and relaxed. Instead I was quiet, nervous, and shaky

I had to look at the phone twice lol So we set up a date for saturday but I will text her the rest of the week up until saturday I did find out she prefers to text rather than talk on the phone which was disappointing. So as of now we have a date for saturday as long as there are no cancellations
