katiegrl Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 So you're a loser, clearly. And as a gateway drug, you are now a cocaine-heroin junkie right? I presume you're replying to LS on your laptop from a cardboard box under a bridge. LOL, Emilia fell right into that one didn't she.... too funny.
PogoStick Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Please add me to everyone's anecdotal list: I'm a pot smoking loser. I am pursuing a doctorate level degree in a medical field, have a 3.6 GPA and most recently scored 98% (top score) in my med-surg class of about 40 students. I'm just years away from a 6-figure income, ample benefits and vacation time, plus job security and the choice of working in any city in the US.
PogoStick Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Reefer madness didn't materialize in Colorado when we legalized it. In fact, most major crime rates are down or way down. Advocates hail Colorado legal pot as success | Al Jazeera America As a skeptic I don't think you can attribute this drop all to legalized pot. But I do think you can say without a doubt it hasn't caused any additional crime. I'd say you are correct. In fact, crime rates have been dropping all over the country for several decades, not just in CO. Which is why I say it's time to start laying off cops and limiting their lethal use of force.
mightycpa Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) I don't smoke it, but here's how I see it: The nurse was on her back porch, lighting up. She wasn't shooting soldiers, or making planes turn around, or even driving. Just minding her own business, smoking her herb, on her property.BF intruded on that and immediately became "Mr. Buzzkill"She's a nurse. She's probably more aware of the health implications than any of us. She's probably more aware of the implications on her nursing license and career than any of us. She's free to make her choices. Getting caught is only a big deal to her. I certainly don't care if she gets caught, and I don't care if it affects her job. It's her consequence, not mine.Who cares what OP thinks? Who cares what OPGF thinks? Who even cares what we think about it? None of us have any say. It is between the two people in the story. He can either live with it or he can't. She will either live without it, or she won't. This problem between them will solve itself without our intervention. Live and let live, people. Edited April 20, 2015 by mightycpa 3
