Me and my boyfriend broke up on Monday. The reason being that he is leaving in a month and a half and after talking for a couple of days we decided that it would be best to do it now rather than later. Obviously neither one of us really like the decision but if it really will be easier when the time comes for him to leave then it is best.

We are best friends and talk to each other every single night before we both go to sleep and we spend a lot of time together.

Last night was our senior prom and we decided to go as a couple and do everything like we were together. We did all of the typical senior prom night things and everything seemed like we never broke up (yes, including sex). Now today I can't stop thinking about how good the night was and how badly I want things to be like that again. What should I tell him, or should I tell him anything at all?

It is sooo hard for me to be around him all the time and not be able to kiss him and be all over him. We are both completly in love but I am going to college in a couple of months and he is moving back home at the end of May. There is no way that we can be together for at 4 years, because neither of us want to try the long-distance thing.

Please give me your advice or your view on this. I have no clue what to do if anything at all.

Thanks,

Well I'm sure that has got to be painful for both of you at this time...

However obviously neither one of you want's to have a LDR (and IMO thats a good decision) so I guess essentially the only thing to do now... is to let things go.

Hang in there
