I see them a lot, usually they have a sufficient amount of pictures, but I would say the maximum amount of sentences I've seen on OK cupid (in each of their sections) were around 2-3 sentences. "Divorced single mother of two, looking for a well-mannered gentleman. Must have a good head on his shoulders and get along well with kids." "LPN going to school for her RN. Looking for someone who can appreciate a lady and live within at least a 30 min. drive from where I live." Are they a turn off to you, or does it matter? Does it beat the long written versions?
Frank2thepoint Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 They're fake accounts. You can message them, you'll probably get a reply, then they'll spam your inbox. If they're not fake for some reason, then it's people that put very little effort into dating.
No Limit Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 The lack of information presented on profiles was my #1 reason to never use OLD (saw it on an account I made as 'experiment'). If there's ever going to be a OLD website where you can freely design your page, link me.
gaius Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 It's better that way in a way, because a long profile on her part kind of fosters an environment where the woman sets the tone about what to talk about. If she doesn't give a lot of details then it becomes more organic, like a real approach. Where the guy has to rely on his own wit and instinct to get things going. Because he doesn't know a whole lot about her. Which ends up being better for both parties.
