I started talking to this girl named Britney a few days ago and everything seems to be ok since she likes and i like her.Well i call her a few times when i get the chance and not to be a jerk but she sorta talks to much about herself which i don't mind but hardly asks me any questions.Should i be worried or do some girls just enjoy talking more then others .I was thinking she is just nervous and will talk more when we know each other better :o

If you enjoy talking to her, then keep seeing her. If you don't enjoy talking to her, then take control of the conversation or stop seeing her. Others might go deeper, but I think that's all the analysis you need.

How about if you try to talk about something completely off subject of her. Maybe like yourself or something. Tell her how your day was or something. She is probably trying to find something to say. Sometimes girls just go on and on about stuff because they have nothing else to talk about. Your right I do think she is nervous too.

it's hard to get to know each other better if you don't get the chance to tell her anything about yourself.

she probably would feel like a dork saying "so what's your favourite food, what's your favourite colour" etc.

if she is talking about herself, try adding to the conversation. for example, if she is telling you she likes to go camping, without interrupting, but before she can switch to another topic, "say i remember one time i went camping and...." yada yada yada.

one-sided conversations don't work unless one person loves talking, and the other listening. while you're thinking "she doesn't shut up about herself" she's probably thinking "geez, i wish this guy would say something so i could stop talking about myself."

it could also be because since you guys are just getting to know each other, she can only talk about herself or things she likes because you haven't established a commonality yet. you can't reflect on things you've done or seen together, or long-term things you would like to do together.

just some thoughts. i think it'll work out if you manage to compromise a bit.
