It's a pointless, redundant question. You get the answer when you ask her out. And bonus points for not caring if she's single or not.

Ask her out first. If she hesitates, then ask if she's single. Otherwise if the date goes well & you feel the chemistry is mutual, then ask if she's "seeing anyone," or married.
