I mean before you go on that second date shouldn't the woman initiate contact atleast once before the second date? How else would a guy know if she is really interested? The girl I met on Monday did answer the phone when I called last night and responded to my text in 2 mins. So the response factor is fine but I just want to feel that the interest is even and not one-sided where I am doing all the contacting. She could just be using me to get free dinner which is easy to think if she never shows she is thinking about you.

If she accepted the date, she was most likely interested at that time. If she keeps the date, she is still interested.

I called last night just to let her know I want to see her again but didn't set up the date because I can't see her until next weekend since my funds are low lol

if the persons are of interest.. either have the option to call and consider another date... but the waiting game... is less catered to with other viable things to do.

I will give it to wednesday and if there is no text to just say hello between now and then which is 5 days then it will not be a second date. The only contact initiated by her was when she returned home from the date saying she was HOME. But since I am expected to spend MY money I need a little more interest shown by her and not just me texting and calling. So she has five days and if no call or text then I am moving on to someone her.

I won't have dating money until next friday so that's why I called last night expressing my interest in seeing her again. Plus she said she had a cold so that buys a little time before setting up the next date.

You call her. You ask her out again. If she says "yes" she's interested. It's not rocket science dude. As I've said before, you're too hung up on phone interaction. Just keep it simple planning dates.
