Aj123 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 So 7 months later since my ex gf left me from a 1yr and half relationship and im still hurting inside, my heart still says try win her back but my mind is sayin forget her she doesnt deserve me, during the breakup she was very unclear about why she was ending it, sayin stuff like things are different now etc... So basically im stuck and dunno what to do, i still go out meet new girls and i know this 1 girl wants to date me but i dont find her as attractive as my ex, even though she may even be a better fit for me. Im aware that my ex isnt dating anyone either and i wonder if she ever thinks about us, her family still contacts me from time to time saying they miss me which makes me miss them even more. We have been NC for 4 months now and im lost in what i should do. Should i pursue this girl im not that interested in or should i try to win my ex back, or should i just hold out until i meet someone else. Any help is appreciated

Any help is appreciated Hold out till you meet someone else. Winning her back is not going to do you any good since she (I'm assuming here) had not reached out to you during the NC period. It sounds like she had GIGS from what little information you shared as far as your reason for breaking up. Pursuing someone who you're not attracted to is not fair to the other person and your also setting yourself up for more heartbreak when you realize that it will never work out and you end it. When you do, not only are you getting over your 1st break up but now you have to get over the guilt of "using" someone as a crutch and breaking their heart in the process.
