Jet96 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Theres this girl i really really like in middle school im in 12 grade now. I finally had the courage to talk to her and we did everyday for over a month she told me she needed time to date me beacause of guys in her past she eventually said she liked me the 2nd girl to say that in my life. (The first one broke my heart and went back to her ex) we planned on going out but then all of a sudden her phone was out of service and her FB deleted i waited a while but nothing then. I contacted a mutual friend of what happened to her he told me that she has a bf now ,i creeped her out and that only wanted to get in her pants and that i was ugly(like other girls have told me but she said i was cute ) there was no indication that i creeped her out ,i actually wanted to out with her unlike the other guys, and she told me there was no one else . i feel like crying because i Told her of my true feelings for her and got crushed again. one else knows what happened to her . what do you guys think am i in the wrong or are all girls really this cruel ?
Gary S Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 she told me she needed time to date me beacause of guys in her past - When a woman says she wants to go slow, it means either she has issues or is really not into you. Next time you will know. Yes, rejection is cruel and unusual punishment. It happens to both boys and girls. People care primarily about their own feelings. Always try to be the one to walk away first, it hurts less. You just have to learn to read their body language and what they do like a poker player. Talk is cheap but actions scream. When the love plane is goin' down there is a only one parachute.

Next time you will know.. Gary the OP is a senior in high school. At best the girl in question is a freshman, probably 13- 14 years old. There are no women in involved. OP -- I am so sorry this girl was cruel to you. Understand young girls are not the most stable creatures on earth. They tend to be very self centered & don't always think about how their actions affect other people. The good news is they grow up & become kinder. Going forward, focus on girls closer to your own age. Second, don't immediately tell anybody you are dating about the depth of your feelings for them. In the 1st few months anything stronger than I like you is over the top & creepy. Even if you think you feel more, do not share. You need to learn to go slow & not wear your heart on your sleeve If you are in grade 12, good news is university is just around the corner. Power down for the rest of high school unless you have a sure fire date to the prom. Then regroup & reinvent yourself once college starts. 2

bubbaganoosh Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Honestly kid if you think your the only guy to get run over then I got a bridge in New York to sell you. It happens. Some more then others but none he less it hurts. I got run over so many times in my 67 years that I have tire tracks up and down my body. What do you do. First, take it one step at a time. You meet a girl, a good idea would be to lift your eyes up above her neck, listen to what she has to say and then you can get a idea if it's worth sticking around or moving on. When you listen to people either men or women, after a while they say volumes about themselves and then you get to see who they are, not what she displays under her shirt. This is no guarantee that this is fool proof but at least you can get an idea of theie personality, likes and dislikes. Good luck.

To answer your question from the title of the thread.... yes. Yes, all girls are like this. Sometimes you'll be the guy the girl picks, sometimes you won't. You get used to these feelings after a while though, so it stops being as big of a deal as it feels for you right now.
Omei Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Op do you think it would be fair to make a title saying "are all men like this" and then base that off a few experiences. No not all girls or woman are the same were individually different just as men are.
Fhsjkfjrhsdh3646 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Wow getting friendzoned by a Middle School girl when you're a HS Senior. Talk about emasculating  OP theres plenty of good girls out there, try someone closer to your age maybe, you'll relate better most likely.

No - not all girls are like this. Just take your time to get to know them. Learn the "WTF" look and if they start being bitchy throw that look in, then walk away shaking your head saying nothing. Walk away from anyone who makes you feel bad.
carhill Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 OP, when you translate 'the girl I liked since middle school' to 'the girl I liked since last week', your success will improve. More rejection will toughen you up and tear down any pedestals you may currently be placing the young ladies on. Figure another decade or so of this unless you get lucky. The more you try and the more experience you gain, the more likely luck will find you. For now, focus on your male friends and education and ask out girls you like today, today. And, yep, even the most predictable of women can be unpredictable in life. Price one pays if wanting to play. Good luck. 1

Yes, girls can be cruel, but not all of them. You also have to remember that they are like you, young and don't really know how to handle things like this yet. This girl was just plain mean and I promise you, she wouldn't have been the ONE for you. You deserve a girl who likes you for who you are, just the way you are. So, what I'm telling you is you will find a girl for you. Be patient and be respectful and don't rush things. Approach another girl you like, get to know her for a while before you tell her you have feelings. When the time is right, you will know it
SawtoothMars Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 i feel like crying because i Told her of my true feelings for her and got crushed again. one else knows what happened to her . what do you guys think am i in the wrong or are all girls really this cruel ? To answer your question... YES. Most girls... and a good chunk of women will be very cruel to you. The ones that don't will be the ones that develop feelings for you. You need to learn how to not care. How to create emotional distance and not get all spun up about a female until you have her feeling something for you. You have to give her attention without acting like a lost puppy. Most guys handle this by focusing on getting sex! Physicality is a great way to build emotional bonds with a woman... so this serves multiple purposes. You really have a lot to learn, and you will always lose if you keep trying to be the nice guy. Scrap that idea! She doesn't want a guy who cares about her until she cares about him.
Perma Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Yes, we are all just a hive-mind, waiting to crush men's lives, one soul at a time.
