I struck up conversation with new girl after English classes. How to not **** it up?

So, i started English classes about a month ago. Guess what? I am the only boy in the class and 16 girls. So, naturally, the first thing that i thought was: Who is the prettiest?.

 

Came to a conclussion and today i noticed that this girl goes home the same way as me (what a miracle). We had a brief conversation about the monthly exam we had today. How can i progess this? Should i ask her for a date just out of the blue or what? Btw, she's 17 as me.

You can ask adult women for a date out of the blue but not teenage girls. She needs a bit more time.

 

Have you talked to her? Can you study with her? Can you sit by her at the next school game or assembly?

 

Do something even walk her home a few times then ask.

If you were a grown man, and this was real life pick up, I'd say work fast and be direct. Adult women know the score and have confidence to be in the moment.

 

But at 17, I'm guessing that girls need a bit more time to be comfortable. I mean going from talking about an exam, to asking her out is going to seem completely random and out of the blue. I'd suggest taking a few weeks to get to know her a bit first. Get on a first name basis, flirt, joke, be playful, pick one outfit you really like on her and tell her how hot she looks, etc.. In the grand scheme of things, waiting a few weeks to get a bit friendly with her won't get you in the friend zone. But waiting an entire semester beating around the bush would. So my advice, act relatively quickly but also show a bit of patience to build rapport with the girl first.
