Contact from wife's former something-or-other - what to make of it?

You fail to see that you looked up the OM.

That the OM had a wife and was not after yours.

 

No, I got that. I guess my point is that if he had gotten in touch with my wife it would have been fine with me as well. But if we want to count that as half an example, or not an example, that's fine with me. So, any more examples, half-examples, or anything along those lines where everybody was just fine with the contact, whether or not it led to a face-to-face encounter?
