My lover Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Men are very visual and women know that. And can use it to their advantage. But do women like looks or personality?. When we are younger looks matter. But does this change as we get older.
Sarabi Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I don't use my looks to my advantage, I do not consider myself a nice pretty girl unfortunately, I would have to use my personality, good manners and reasonable level of intelligence and decent command of English (no slang etc.) to get a man. But they don't care anyway so sod them all lol I would say now both but definitely personality matters. I am not a hot woman. So a hot guy would not go for me...and anyway the problem with them is they know they can have anyone so perhaps they feel they could play around and do what they wanted. I find all kinds of men attractive though some very handsome, some might be what others would consider average... 1
No Limit Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 It appears that for a vast majority of women the looks of a guys' material belongings matter the most. No matter how your face looks like, you'll always look good in a Mclaren. 1
pteromom Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 It means nothing to have a great looking guy with no personality. At the same time, nobody wants a relationship with someone they find unattractive. The good news though is that looks are subjective, and every person has a different list of what they find attractive, both in looks AND in personality. 1

pteromom Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 No matter how your face looks like, you'll always look good in a Mclaren. LOL - true, but being eye-catching, and being relationship material are two different things. Women are different when it comes to material things, just like we are with everything else. There are those who are more than happy to live in a small trailer in the country with a good man, living paycheck to paycheck, and there are those who insist a man is wealthy and can provide travel and diamonds and a flashy life... and everything in between.
No Limit Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 What's a Mclaren? Because where I'm from, Mclaren is a Hospital... CiH* It's a very good-looking sports car with usually at least 500 PS. Prices seem to range between 250.000$ to 900.000$ (new; you can get them for 150.000$ if they're used).
Sarabi Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 What's a Mclaren? Because where I'm from, Mclaren is a Hospital... CiH* Where I am from Mclaren is a pushchair (baby stroller) (for the record, I can't really stand sports cars-too expensive, too much in tax/insurance/petrol etc. just a big risk) 3
No Limit Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 to 900.000$ Correction; 1.200.000$, my bad. (for the record, I can't really stand sports cars-too expensive, too much in tax/insurance/petrol etc. just a big risk) Well Germany's Autobahn has no speed limit so it's different when you own a sports car here. Just don't try full driving full speed during the rushhour, but Saturday - Sunday nights the streets are well empty.

Am yet to go on the Autobahn I have only driven in France...in my old little 1.2 Clio. Have driven my uncle's Mercedes on the motorway here. Speed limit is 70...my limit is averaging 90-95 lol, its very easy to pick up speed. Then again, that car is made for the autobahn. They handle very beautifully too.
ComingInHot Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 AAaahahahahaha!! This is spectacular! Totally could be CiH* twisted to mean = same look can mean different things to different people, right? For Sarabi, looks can mean too immature To No Limit looks can mean fast and high maintenance To me looks can prove too mature But we all might agree that; Decent or hot looks paired with a kickass attitude and proven agility is what many women call the 'Entire Package'! CIH* ...I totally had that for an entire week!! 2

Just saying... I guess it depends on the woman/girl but to me, the material stuff is not coming with me (or him) when either of us die. Enough to be comfortable and enough so that you can manage without having to struggle excessively is more appealing. No need to keep up appearances... 1
serial muse Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 My H just asked me the other day if I'd ever dated a guy with a fancy sports car. I told him I did, once. Unfortunately that guy was the worst stereotype and he turned out to be really rude to waitstaff. That was the end of that. Doesn't mean I wouldn't have dated a different sportscar-driver, but it certainly wasn't a trait I was going to seek out.
carhill Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 This could combine all three. Did Jay make women wet with his looks? Did he make his millions with his model face? Has he remained married for 34 years to the same woman because she can't get enough of his gorgeous bod? Rides in his F1 and P1 and any of the hundreds of other vintage and antique cars he owns? Attraction is what matters. Sure, there are some guys who turn women's heads everywhere. They're few and far between. Most men are attractive to some women somewhere, and for various reasons, of which physical appearance is one. Bottom line? There is no universal formula for success, rather simply life.
No Limit Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 ...Until the bailiffs are coming for you because all your beautiful possessions were things you could not afford to begin with. Just saying... Nah, the car prices are going down fast. For our Audi A4 we years ago paid the same amount a used Maserati costs today. Even Porsches aren't out of reach anymore, only that their design sucks in comparison to BMW or Audi (in my opinion).
neowulf Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Both? I think everyone has at least one example of a person who didn't match "their type", yet some how snuck up on them and blew their socks off. Chemistry is chemistry. Sometimes it's about a look, sometimes it's just about a vibe.
fitnessfan365 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I think men under-estimate a woman's need for physical attraction and sexual satisfaction. After all, they're people just like us. My girlfriend isn't begging me to bed her constantly because of my personality. But at the same time, if you want to have a successful long term relationship with a woman, you need to connect with her emotionally and intellectually. It won't last on physical chemistry alone. What's that saying? "Seduce a woman's mind and her body will follow". Exists for a reason.
