acidrein_08 Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Me and my ex broke up over 2 months ago and since then have been pretty firm no contact. We saw each other for the first time after we broke up about a week or two ago and didn't talk, but she called the next day and we did. We talked a few more times on the phone and this past Sunday we decided on meeting. We talked for hours and hugged and cuddled some and things got really confusing. She was really happy to see me and enjoyed meeting me. She has wrote me tons of emails since sunday and we have talked on the phone for a long time. Last night she told me she loved me, today things were pretty crazy becuase I was asking her about things and she didn't know the answers and said she doesn't want to be in a relationship right now. I was fine with her answer and told her it was perfectly normal she couldn't make her mind up. She had to go into work so we got off. About an hour later she calls and all at once tells me she misses me, she loves me with all her heart and will forever, she wants to be with me, she doesn't want to lose me, she said she thinks she has pushed me away and doesn't want to do that, she thinks she tried convincing herself she wasn't in love with me when she was. This all took me by complete suprise but what made it really confusing is she said she just didn't want to be with me now. I told her it didn't make sense and she said she knew, but she had to get back to work and get off because she was hiding in the bathroom. We haven't talked since then, I'm confused, excited, scared, happy, wondering what to think or do? Should I call her, do I wait? Need advice asap please!

Anything you say can potentially screw this up, leave the ball in her court because that is where it ultimately lies. You need to show her that your not going to wait for her forever, pretend as if you are moving on with your life. She'll realize what she's losing and she'll fall into your hands.
mixwell Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 it sounds like they are past that point sanne.. acid i would just wait for her to call and hit her up about it. just say we were good together werent we ? then just be quiet. if she says yes then say "Lets get back together then" and wait and see what she says.. that why by not really asking her if she wants to then most likely she will say yes.. I think you two will be together.. i mean she already said she wants to be with you.. basically sounds like she is just waiting for you to ask her out again !! so just do it already homie !! let us know what happens.. take care, peace

It really made me mad she didn't want to talk about anything serious. So I figure I will stop answering her calls for awhile and see if shes ready to start talkin then, I got things to do anyways.
BeenThereB4 Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 WATCH OUT! I divorced my ex and 4 months later he shows up at my front door saying he still loves me and I'm "the one". I got back together with him just to date him (because there was no one else). Things were fine for the first 2 months then he went back to being the inconsiderate selfish loser I divorced in the first place. Moral of the story - it rarely works out the second time.
