I know everyone is obviously different, but I'm hoping a few people will respond and I can compare notes. I think I have some down, but really... my dilema, would a late twenty's guy really flirt like this, or is he just being friendly, (we have been friends, dated breifly a long time ago, but have been friends for a long time) 1. teases me 2. actually pulls my hair, not hard, just pulls my hair like a little boy would in first grade 3. lots of eye contact everytime we talk, i end up being the one to look away 4. i catch him staring at me, with big open eyes, (could be he thinks I am really strange) 5. if I do something nice for him, he kisses me on the cheek... (I have made sure to notice if he acts this way with other girls, and it is just me) 6. even though he teases me, if someone else says something rude or what he considers rude, then he will stick up for me (he does that with a lot of his friends though)

Are these common amongst males, I just have never encountered any form of flirting like that... I mean the other ones are pretty indicitve of the male population, (only my opinion), unless I am reading something that is not there, trying to find something when there's nothing there... :\

HEEEELLLPPP Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 I wish I could just ask him, but we really don't talk about things... everything is known (as far as me liking him) but not spoken of... he nor I deal with confrontation very well, and to make things more interesting, he moved in with my best friend, whom he only met about 6 months ago (who is a girl, but into girls, so no nothing would ever go on there) and so you see I would have to see him all the time if I confronted him, and I think it would just make it awkward for a little while... I just have never seen a grown man flirt like that, but as Alpha said, maybe he just thinks of me as a sister... oh why can't he just sweep me off my feet and tell me he is in love with me and we ride off into the sunset happily ever after...
