I hope this thread isnt too off the wall but I want your opinions and thoughts and even possible experiences.

My stbx wife and I are in the process finalizing our divorce (officially will be divorced April 8th). Her leaving me and cheating with married man led to our divorce. The married man dumped her, she then started talking to me again...but I moved out per our agreement and went no contact.

Since then she hasnt been upholding our settlement agreement so therefore I will have to file contempt on her for 2 issues.I have spoken to her and she is hateful, belittles me for not being over her and that Im upset, and even makes fun of my weight. She has hurt me so much and continues to now because of her not following our separation agreement.

So here is where the superstitious part comes into play. Today I had to go to the post office in the town I used to live in (she still lives there in our home). I went after the post office was closed because I just needed to check my post office box. As I was on the walking path to the entrance of the post office I seen a large black bird that was dead. I remember saying in my mind "This isnt a good sign" when I noticed what it was. I then looked up and no joke my STBX wife was driving by in the car we agreed to sell per the settlement agreement (one of the issues she is in contempt for). So I wonder what the correlation between seeing the dead black bird, and then seeing my stbx instantly means. I know I know you all must think wow this guy has lost it, or that Im not doing well coping because Im now going the superstitious route.

But if you have thoughts, opinions, experiences, or even got a good laugh from this then share it.

Birds in Mythology - Myth Encyclopedia - Greek, god, story, legend, names, ancient, animal, snake, war, norse

Birds are often associated with a few things; they can symbolize creation, or.symbolize the trickster in some cases.

Since you ran across a dead bird, lol you could say it symbolizes the death of what you two had created together and the ushering away of the trickster (your soon to be ex who sounds like a piece of work.) I would see it as positive if you want.

Yeah there has to be some correlation between walking up on this large dead black bird, and then looking up and instantly seeing my stbx ex driving by. I hope it was a sign meant to be positive. She really has caused me a lot of hurt, and destroyed me emotionally.

Then its certainly positive! You are divorcing someone who causes you pain. It's not a moment of darkness, its a trial of passage to a better place.

Think about it man, you'll be free! Your life will be yours again. Yes, there may be moments of loneliness and other trials, but there will be something good waiting for you. I absolutely, 100% guarantee it. There always is.
