sportygirl89 Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 One of my other posts I talked about a guy getting sent to be a missionary and will be gone for 2 years. I still have a year left in program and have my training from it I will be doing so I'll be plenty busy. I decided to delete facebook since I was just over it and the superficial aspect. I had given him my contact info. He texted me first and we talked the whole day. I asked if I could write him. He said yes. Now when to tell him I might possibly like him? I was thinking of writing him a letter and give it to him before he leaves, but not to open it until on plane. What would you put in it? I know guys are oblivious but he seems to actually be receptive. I'm not blind that he might meet someone over there like many missionaries do.
d0nnivain Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Sine you aren't dating, you keep the letter light & upbeat but hopeful for a possible future together. You wish him well. You tell him you will pray for him, his safety & his mission. You invite him to keep in touch. You sign it "warmly" or "fondly" but not "love" and not with a business closing like "sincerely".
