Like I had this guy tell me why I don't show emotion, why I don' talk enough, why I don't smile, why I sound depressed...I'm like what the heck??? If all a person does is start complaining about me, then get the get out of my face and find someone else!

I'm hazarding a guess here they are likely to be the same guys who go on about the entitlement of women and how they can't get their dick wet often enough. 2

That's what I would do if a guy was unemotional, non-talkative, didn't smile and sounded depressed. If I were those men, I'd be feeling disrespected at least. If you didn't want to be on the date, you shouldn't have gone. And, why wouldn't a guy bitch a little when he's gone to the trouble of taking a woman on a date, spending a little money on someone who wasn't any fun to be with and made me feel like she didn't want to be there.

I have had a guy tell me once that i am too independent and he wasn't sure if i even liked him at first. yet the dude kept calling me for dates. I actually later learned that what i was doing was in line with that book, "the rules" (even though i didnt know it at the time), and clearly it worked. I wasn't doing it on purpose, it was just my personality and the fact I wasn't head-over-heels for him... i liked him but i wasn't like obsessed anyways, i would say that if this guy keeps wanting to see you, but keeps whining and complaining, let him. Haven't you seen your female friends do the SAME THING toward a guy? The guy really is into you and feels powerless and frustrated because he hasn't "cracked" you. Reassure him you're interested, but don't change for a guy.

If the woman is not resiprocating, he start asking this kind of questions. Basicly he is asking himself, am i not good enough, whats wrong with me. Men are much more egocentric. 1

Its a "I'm in charge complex" and I'm going to tell you whats wrong with you, what you can and cant do, and how you can fix it. I'm sure guys like that are also always giving their unwanted opinion to strangers as well. I would love to know if guys like that are aware of WHY they never get a 2nd date, or are they totally clueless of their actions? 2

On a first date, people are nervous, shy or what have you, and it takes a few dates for them to warm up. I think any man who would be so obnoxious to say such things on the first few dates are the ones to be walked out on....not the other way around.! 2

Do some research on this (Myers Briggs is a good resource) and try to find guys to date who will appreciate your introversion. Many people like me (and I am an extrovert) love introverts. Because going on a date isn't the same as hiring a paid escort! Going on a date is just to see if you like the other person at all. If not, move the fk on.
