Author BlackOpsZombieGirl Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 I'm not at ALL picky when it comes to height. It's rather irrelavant as I find certain "types" of women physically attracted for certain reasons. Tall women are leggy, they are typically curvier, have "more" to touch, etc. Short women are cute because they are short and their petiteness is attractive. As long as they aren't fat, I'm okay with it. lol It seems that you're flexible when it comes to a person's height. As far as weight is concerned, I agree with you there. I don't mind a guy who has a little bit of pudge or love handles as long as the rest of him is physically attractive; but I couldn't date a guy who was overweight. .
alphamale Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I've never had any man have an issue with how tall I am in heels; in fact, I've had a few guys say they thought it was "hot" because they liked how long and lithe my legs looked. mmm and i'm sure you've nice feet with painted toe nails
Author BlackOpsZombieGirl Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 Here's my experience as an old fart....when a young man I seemed to always go for the petite ladies, though I dated a range of heights and weights, probably the tallest being your height. Though a bit shorter now in older age, I was 5'11" as a younger man. However, something seemed to change during my M, which was to a petite lady, 5'1", was that, whenever she'd wear platform sandals (for her work as a cosmetologist) or heels when we'd go out as a couple, I started feeling this strange sexual rush and embracing her and kissing her, etc, felt more, well, erotic. I had started to write this off to some heel/shoe fetish type thing but then, one time when we were in Australia for a concert tour and I was talking shop with a sound tech during a break I saw this lady sitting in the soundboard area get up and her height just mesmerized me. I tend to get overwhelmed at venues like concerts and don't notice individuals but the lady, who I recognized as the performer's wife, was like 'whoa'. I think it was then that I realized it wasn't any sort of sexual fetish but rather that my view on women's height had changed. It kind of pulled together a bunch of stuff that had gone on but didn't make sense discretely. Well, TBH, I've met a fair amount of older ladies in my travels, many happening to be retired flight attendants and the old parameters for that job did include height and build and those tall ladies have, even in their 60's, caught my attention and held it. I don't meet many tall ladies in my local demographic but wouldn't be averse to dating one if we met and the attraction was mutual. LOL @ "old fart" So, it's cool that you were into short women when you were younger, but then as you got older, you found out that you also like tall women. If you were 5'11" when you were younger, how tall are you now? @CrystleCastles: Wow, you're tall! I bet you command attention when you walk into a room. And I think it's interesting that, even though you're tall, you wouldn't want to date a guy taller than yourself; I would've expected you to say the opposite of that! .
Phoe Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Surprisingly, I've had more complaints about my long legs than anything else. One guy told me he liked my long legs and that the heels make them look amazing. That made me happy! But otherwise, it's always complaints that my legs are too long and that it's weird. What the hell?? I refuse to be made to feel bad about my legs, because I actually like them! 2

I have had some comments about my height but nothing rude, they don't bother me. In terms of dating, height has never been a parameter I've considered. To me, besides personality, intelligence, compatibility, chemistry, etc., its important that a guy is physically attractive and has a good body and enjoys and is good at/enthusiastic about sex. Both short and tall guys can manage that juuuust fine!

Yes, if a guy is physically attractive and is sensual and tantric in bed in addition to the other traits you've mentioned, I would consider myself having hit THE jackpot! .
road Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Being 5'9" and have always felt the best match would be for a man to be 4" taller. If I dated a 5'7" woman I would appreciate if she could limit her shoes with 2" heels. I doubt I would date a woman taller then me. Nicole Kidman is 5'11" and has not hit on me yet. Though being married and too old for her I would have to let her down gently so as to not scar her. So I would have to say for every inch above and below 5'5" starts to move away from my ideal height. Though I would date a woman from 5'1" to 5'8". For other things can make up for her not having the ideal height. Same as women judge us.
carhill Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 LOL @ "old fart" So, it's cool that you were into short women when you were younger, but then as you got older, you found out that you also like tall women. If you were 5'11" when you were younger, how tall are you now? After posting, it did occur to me that, even though it was generally petite ladies I dated as a young man, my first real crush as a teenager was on an older lady who was 5'9" and seemed like she had legs that went on forever. Later, when a nutty sitcom called Married with Children first came on the tube, I caught my first glimpse of Katey Sagal and, yep, that was her, not the actual actress but she was a doppleganger for the lady in question. Regarding 'shrinking', it's different with everyone but my best measurement using the laser I have in the shop pegs me at 5'10 1/4", so age and my work life have claimed about 3/4" so far. Working in heavy industrial takes its toll on the back and discs I guess.
Price2Play Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I'm 5'8", the tallest I've dated well she was fwb she was 5'9" & the shortest was 5'. 5'9" had some damn sexy legs aswell. They just went on for days. I prefer 5'2" to 5'6".
Ruby Slippers Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I'm tall. As a tall girl, you hear a lot of repetitive and some dumb comments: Do you play basketball? Amazon. Giraffe. Want to climb you I play tennis, have nice getaway sticks, and get lots of raves there I know that petite women are more the feminine ideal than tall, and some men don't like tall women. But I don't think my height has ever been an impediment in dating. Some tall men LOVE tall women and don't "feel right" with a short one. My longest relationship so far was with a guy who was 6'4". We both loved to dance (swing, salsa, all kinds of ballroom dancing), and when we were dressed up and waltzing around a ballroom, we stole the show 2

I got my 6'0 ex to do easy stretching yoga with me one time, a 20-minute routine. When we stood up, for the first time ever, I was looking up at him, and I immediately pointed it out. Before then, he appeared to be my height because he had mediocre posture. Just one session of easy stretching yoga made him "grow" a few inches. I have good posture (random people even tell me this), and I notice that a lot of people slouch. My tip is shoulders back, chest forward, and stay limber. 1
ThaWholigan Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I'm tall so tall girls are a-ok with me And even if I wasn't tall, I'd still date em! I met a girl who was 6 foot 5 once. She was gorgeous.
Shining One Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 But otherwise, it's always complaints that my legs are too long and that it's weird.Other than: "You keep leaving footprints on my ceiling", I can't think of a reasonable complaint regarding long legs.
Trane Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 No problems whatsoever dating tall women, especially the ones who actually have the inner strength and self confidence to challenge dated height norms. One truth from my experiences is that tall women who are heavyset, big boned or fat rarely date shorter guys because they have serious issues looking like a giant beast next to a shorter guy. Secondly, these women always want a guy taller than them just like short women do. They want to wear high heels in public and not get laughed at or ridiculed.
Imported Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I can't think of a reasonable complaint regarding long legs. People with long legs usually have short torso's. It's why their legs are "long". It's in comparison. I do like longish legs, but not to the point where the torso looks abnormally short. Phoe, I remember your pics. I think you look great. Don't fret over it.
Phoe Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Other than: "You keep leaving footprints on my ceiling", I can't think of a reasonable complaint regarding long legs. comparisons to really odd, weird, creepy, or awkward animals come to mind. giraffe, llama, horse, chicken (??), spider... once got compared to a stingray. Major what the hell, stingrays don't even have legs i will never understand! Gotten alien before too. and like Imported said, a shorter torso comes into play. or the fact that my long legs paired with a man who is shorter than me, and has short legs and is stockier, whereas I am lankier, it made matching up for sex difficult, and he blamed it on me and my "stupid too long legs". 1
LookAtThisPOst Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I guess if you're standing up to have sex, he'd need to stand on a box at least. lol comparisons to really odd, weird, creepy, or awkward animals come to mind. giraffe, llama, horse, chicken (??), spider... once got compared to a stingray. Holy Crap.... just bend your knees a bit or take a wide stance. I'm sorry but this guy sounds like a noob! 1
veggirl Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I'm 5'8, 5'9. The only time I've gotten a reaction is in heels when I'm taller than the guy, most of them have commented on it. Not negatively necessarily. An old roommate of mine was 6ft and she was beautiful...she never struggled for dates and most often dated shorter guys. She refused to wear heels though. My best friend is 5'11 and married to a guy a couple inches shorter, not an issue.

My personal preference is the face, I just think pretty face is all matters as long as everything else falls into place. Also having longer legs gives the impression of more height, so a 5'7 girl with long legs should make her look even taller than she really is.

Well a 5'7 girl isn't short by any means as it is Long legs can be fun during sex too, never mind I don't have to get on my knees to reach their face to make-out.
road Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Height is a preference. Men and women have many preferences. Other assets or better to say attributes can more then make up for a preference to be lacking. So height does not have to be a deal killer.
Phoe Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Holy Crap.... just bend your knees a bit or take a wide stance. I'm sorry but this guy sounds like a noob! well, I was only the 2nd girl he ever dated, so yeah, he was a newb regardless. but bending the knees or taking a wide stance would make it worse, that would move him even lower towards the ground, and he needed to get higher up, and couldn't. My long legs had me too high up, he could not reach.
alphamale Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 i'm sorry but a shorter guy with a taller girl is just plain lame in my book. he'll be looking up at her forever and she'll be looking down at him, and you know what that means.
Harradin Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 I'm 6'2 so finding a woman who's taller than me is impressive.. But I wouldn't date a woman taller than me, including if she is on heels. It personally creeps me out as I'm tall and big (broad and in shape, not fat) so it'd feel like I'm losing masculinity.
