How can I let someone I just gave my number to that I don't TEXT when I'm home?

This is hilarious.

If you don't like her enough to text her when you're home, this is never going to work. I'm also sure that she wouldn't like to know that a television show trumps any contact with her.

You are not supposed to develop rapport over text messaging, only the phone

But it's a start. It happens all the time with people who make friends right here on this board.

I don't see anything wrong responding to texts twice an hour

I need to confirm I am talking to a woman. How do I know someone is not cat fishing me and it's a MAN?

SMG,

You say you want help and advice right? So please take this.

Do one 15-20 min phone call. If you like talking to her and have a few things in common, make plans with her on the first call. Don't have three calls and texting sessions. Besides, locking down plans would leave you more time to watch TV undisturbed. Haha Gotta say though, that's rough you can't drive. Maybe if you invested some of that electronics money into a used car, it would help your dating life.

I control the flow of my day and can text off and on every 5 to 10 minutes. Actually that is the norm now when I walk past everyone's desk, they all have their phone out.

It's not a wonder your employer is moving to the hood. They obviously can't support a staff that sits around texting all day! Every five to ten minutes? :lmao:

I can see why you don't want to take six months of unemployment; what a gig. Where do I sign up?
