It's weird. You've got my post quoted, but it's disappeared. Did someone flag it?

But yeah, women NEVER answer the call the first time unless you've made an appointment to actually talk. I started doing it out of necessity because I got sick of voice mail phone tag or having voice mails returned with texts.

We got a bit off-topic. I think a couple posts got deleted, but I was already typing mine while they were doing it.

Younger people (guys and girls) don't answer voicemail at all, so it's best just to text first!

Plan the date as a meet-up somewhere like the park, or a local tourist area so you can not be sitting across from each other in a crowded bar trying to have a conversation. It's a good way to have an inexpensive meet-up, and there should be lots of visual stimulation to create things to talk about if you're stuck for conversation.

What about ice skating? Granted, being on ice when the weather is cold may clash. But women always seem to find it romantic. Probably has to do with the original Rocky and the Rocky/Adrian dynamic..LOL

I don't like to be out in cold weather for a long period of time since it leads to a runny nose and cold hands.

They have plenty of indoor rinks. Granted, ice is cold either way. But you'd be indoors. Plus, it's more unique than bowling or mini golf, and you'll have a reason to be in constant contact for the entire date. I mean what better way to be comfortable with someone than slip and fall down together? :p

Well it's good knowing WHY THE DATES WENT SOUTH so that gives me the motivation to get ready for the next one and be more confident

Right then my dear its time to practice your small talk. So here we go...

I was asked yesterday what mode of transport I would prefer if I could choose any at all... I chose camel. I have never ridden a camel, there are camel races and camel polo matches, I have recently been informed that the noises Chewbacca makes are actually camels and at the end of the day, whats good for Lawrence of Arabia is good for me.

Right now you can come back with several things from this little statement. You can now discuss your preferred mode of transport, Star Wars films, Camel racing/ polo, Lawrence of Arabia... Or you can come back at me with something else that this little statement has made you think about...

So lets have a "small talk" conversation...
