Pices292 Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I have been dating a guy for about 4 months...Well he is a BIG TIME sports fan and would rather sit home and watch sports on TV rather than do things outside..Since we are new at dating he is willing to go out with me, but I'm concerned that once we get used to each other that will go out the door and he will be addicted to sports and not want to do anything, I don't mind that he watches sports but I feel that since he works 6 days a week, (Mon - Sat) that he should do things with me on Sunday.... Do you think there will be a problem down the road..... I like this guy, but I would rather end it sooner than later so no one gets that hurt!!
Mz. Pixie Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 If's its bothering you now it will drive you crazy down the line, trust me! My best friend is married to a sports nut. He will watch multiple baseball games on multiple channels. I couldn't handle it. They spend most of their time in separate rooms watching separate tvs. If that's cool with you though you should be fine.
EC Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Switch it up. Make little sexual bets on the future score of whatever sport he's watching. For example...your team scores a touchdown ..he has to give you oral for 45 mins!! lol It'll definitely make watching sports with your man a whole lot more entertaining. Its what I do and its so much fun!
faux Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Try getting involved in his sports. If you like to do something, I'm sure you might want him to get involved somehow, so why not try to get involved in what he likes to do? Maybe you two could go out to a game somewhere, that way the both of you are doing something together.
bubblygrl5 Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Yea, it's gonna bug you down the road! Mine isn't a sports fanatic - but an internet/video game junkie. Hopefully if you talk to him tho, u can work out a compromise.... I wouldnt end it over that if thats the only problem... Bubbly
