ShiningBrightly Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 I've been dating a guy for about 3 months, and we currently see each other a few times/week, while all of the typical things associated with dating for 3 month are on the table...it's exciting, fun, and all the rest. I'm super-jazzed to see him whenever I can, and I just like hearing his voice, cuddling, make-out and all the good stuff - going out is good, but staying in is a blast as well. Anyhow, we're both in our 30s and looking for something on the serious that would ideally lead to marriage. We're obviously not at the point where we have a clue about that level of compatibility between the two of us (and that's fine), in particular because we're likely still lost in the infatuation stage, but as of now there are no glaring flags - so I think we're both pretty happy. Whenever we see each other, we usually spend the night together. My question is how often do people in a great relationship/dating scenario, see each other. Once a week, 2-3 times a week, 4-5 times a week, 6+ times/week? Is there a point where seeing too much of each other can kill the future?
Vintage79 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Hey Shining - I've heard a lot of different things. A lot of people would tell you that every day is too often, but there are a few people I know that go all in and see each other effectively every day after they become exclusive. I'm not sure what's best for the long run, but if you're really into him, I'd say see him 3+ times/week...2 is passable, 1 probably not enough.
