Am I being paranoid?

About a year and a half ago, I met this girl through a free dating website. Everything seemed to be cool, but she stood me up twice on dates that we were supposed to go on. I randomly messaged her on facebook a few weeks ago and we agreed to meet. I asked her what happened before and she admitted that she wasn't over an ex. She told me that she is now the happiest she has ever been in her life. We met, date went well, and ended the night with a few kisses. She even grabbed me and kissed me before she got in her car.

I am 34 years old and have been on numerous dates. Things normally go fast on both ends and they usually run. This time I'm not doing what I'm used to. Before I would shower them with compliments and seem way to eager to be dating them. This time, things are going slow. I've given her a few compliments, but not many.

So a few days ago, I asked her about meeting for dinner tomorrow as it's my only day off. She didn't say anything so I asked her again on Friday. She said that she would let me know because she wasn't sure if her parents were wanting to do anything that day for her because she recently got a promotion at work and that she would let me know as soon as she found out. How should I handle it? Am I just being paranoid because I've been hurt so many times? I'm feeling like she is shying away from committing to anything. I don't know what to think.

She gave you a legit answer. Youre going to have to deal with it.

First of all, you shouldnt even be asking her the same question twice.
