A girl I knew from college told me her mother used to put on makeup before her husband woke up in the morning. This was when they first got married... newlyweds, let me tell you. She finally gave up the routine after getting morning sickness.
FolderWife Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Women are best in my opinion with a LITTLE make up. I wear mascara and chapstick. Sometimes I'll use liner or eyeshadow, but basic is best.
EC Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 I agree. Basic is best . Just a little bit! I used to wake up in the morning before my bf did when he would sleep over and put on powder and blush at least so I wouldn't scare him lol But then we went to Orlando one time for vacation and I lost my make-up bag and so he woke up in the morning and I'll never forget..he turned over and tucked my hair behind my ear and told me that i had never looked so beautiful. That I took his breath away. ( I know..I know..panties flew off!) So from then on I was like ok forget the morning routine. lol
laRubiaBonita Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 all i wear is eyeliner, mascara, some powder, and a little spot coverage when needed. i cannot use lipstick cause i get it everywhere! i use flavored Chapstick, cherry gives the lips a healthy pink tint! if i am going all out, i will put on some eyeshadow, and attempt lipstick.
NAS123 Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 I don't wear anything on my face. No make-up at all.
jp79 Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I prefer women without any makeup, but a bare minimum is ok. Really don't know who decided that heavy makeup is a good thing....
GirlDown Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 i know the women servers at Ruby Tuesday hate make-up...or at least resent having to wear it. in the rules, it says that women are "strongly suggested" to wear their "date faces" while at work. it used to be that they had to in order to work, now it's just very encouraged. ew. no i don't work there.
