Stop eating sweets, stop drinking soda, drink water, eat 5/6 small meals a day to increase your metabolism, do some kind of daily exercise or activity.....

or you could try a diet pill plan thing

or you could do like slimfast kinda stuff

or you could go on a week long coke binge, that always works.:laugh:

1. Like BO said, split up your meals into 5 or 6 per day. They should total about 1200 calories.

2. Drink a gallon of water per day.

3. Lots of cardio.

4. Cut out alcohol.

So do you think that I will lose a size in 2 weeks???

My cousin told me about green tea being good for that? Any opinions?

Losing more than 2 lbs of fat per week is unlikely, but you might be able to lose enough water weight in addition to that to squeeze into the dress. Green tea certainly can't hurt. Minimal calories with caffeine in it.

Have you tried fluid pills? I've seen that take weight off fast. Not recommended for people with heart problems though.

It'll definately work in a month, I know that.

I know it's a big thing, but no wedding worths prize of your metabolism. Why don't you talk to a doc about that? I've read on the msnbc that working out 60' per day helps a LOT in losing weight. Beats the hell outta starving yourself or trying out a new magic pill.

I'll PM you the link if I find it. Good luck, girl!

The teas that help you digest and eliminate everything out of your system are highly irritating for your stomach. Don't play with that. Rather than that, just eat a lot of vegeables and fruits - the efect is just the same and you aren't hurting yourself.

From personal experience, stomach ackes SUCK!!!

Mi madre just started drinking that stuff recently. I think it may help with her aches and pains or something. It may have something to do with her losing weight too, not sure.

stacker 2 pills... drink water and make smaller portions when you eat.

like for breakfast have some fruit or cereal, for lunch have some subway, and for dinner eat some meat with veggies or something like that... do like 50-100 crunches a night, and jog one or two laps around your block.

Drinking lots of water and if you drink soda, switch to diet instead of regular, there is no calories and so sugar or sugar alcohol but it tastes really good.

If you eat 3 smaller meals (like 6 to 8 ounces of HEALTHY food) and then two small healthy snacks throughout the day you will increase you metabolism a lot and if you work out, try increasing your cardio and toning excercises. :)

Yes losing a size in one month is VERY possible as long as you stay dedicated and if you crave sweets look to the sugar free candies or ice cream. Very low in calories and a little more healthy than normal (though no sweets are really healthy).

DON'T I repeat DON'T skip meals or try and and "fast" or anything because you will only cause your metabolism to slow and when you begin eating normal you will GAIN more weight! :(:D

Hey girl I know I should PM you this but I've lost 89lbs in 4 months!!! But malabsorbtion and a reduced stomach (pouch) is to be thanked for that oh and eating ONLY healthy and sugar free foods. :D:)

Congrats Barby!!! That is so cool!!!

But anyway thank you! I know you can do this, unless you are on medication that causes you to gain weight because if this is the case only having your doc switch to meds that don't cause weight gain will help. :)

A co-worker told me about a diet called the South-Beach diet, has anyone heard of this?

Barby, can you start a thread on how you lost your weight? I'm very interested.

Naive, yes, I've heard of it and seen the book.

I know of no healthy way to lose ten pounds in two weeks. The only way you will lose weight is if you burn more calories per day than you take in.

Stop drinking soda, and go for brisk walks every day if you can, or at the very least walk three times a week, half an hour for each walk minimum. If you feel up to jogging, even better. Leaving a tiny bit of your meals left over might help, but usually skipping out on junk drinks and snacks, combined with upping your activity level, is enough to notice something after a month or two.

The only diets that work are the diet changes you keep for the rest of your life.

I really do not think it is healthy to try to lose ten pounds in two weeks.

Stay miles away from foods with lots of fat and sugar. RUN out and get Dr. Shapiro's Picture Perfect Weight Loss and make the substitutions he suggests. You'll stuff yourself to exploding without being able to get too many calories into yourself.

Do not eat until you are full - eat just until you're not hungry any more. Start your dinners with a very light soup broth. And do not eat unless you are hungry. Of course, exercise as everyone else has suggested.
