Toodaloo Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 He is sweet, charming, body of a teenager (how?), good looking, compassionate, fun, sociable, gorgeous hands (with short finger nails) and just basically a fantastic guy. But... 1. He really isn't very confident and constantly looks for validation that he is good looking 2. At certain angles he looks like my cousin... which kinda turns the attraction button to off rather rapidly... Pft. We shall see. 6
Gaeta Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 He is sweet, charming, body of a teenager (how?), good looking, compassionate, fun, sociable, gorgeous hands (with short finger nails) and just basically a fantastic guy. Woooohooo !!! :-) But... 1. He really isn't very confident and constantly looks for validation that he is good looking 2. At certain angles he looks like my cousin... which kinda turns the attraction button to off rather rapidly... 1. Depending on his level of insecurities that can be fixed with a little bit of time and positive re-inforcement 2. haha! always sit on his side that doesn't look like your cousin 6

Author Toodaloo Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 lol It really is bad... I found myself closing my eyes or looking away when he was at "that" angle but it just keeps popping into my head... Hoping that if I spend more time with him I will see more of the angles that don't look like my cousin... it is a problem I have to admit. The other angles are very fine angles to be looking at!!! 1

But... 1. He really isn't very confident and constantly looks for validation that he is good looking A woman (You) who will give him the time of day can easily fix that. To have confidence, you have to be sure or at least confident that you CAN be successful. No wins and too many losses destroys confidence. 1
writergal Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Have fun Toodaloo! Try not to overthink his face angles too much!

Haha I remember a time when I had a profile up on Match a few years ago. They send members daily "matches" based on your preferences and I remember opening the list one day only to see MY FIRST COUSIN as my IDEAL match!!!! I was horrified especially because he got me as HIS match too!!!! What's worse is that he came up multiple times after that. I deleted my profile shortly after that. We laughed about it in the end but it was still kind of awkward

I am not all that bothered by that its the looking like my cousin thing... thats the killer... I really like this guy. He is absolutely fantastic in so many ways but I really do not want to think of my cousin when snogging!!!
gaius Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Don't fix his insecurity, it's probably the main reason he has a great body. One of my ex's ruined me by always proclaiming she wouldn't mind if I gained 20 pounds. =/ I actually started to believe it and cared less which led to .

I can't help but wonder if you actually chose from one of the dick pictures. "Ah... now this penis looks sweet and sociable!" 1
Author Toodaloo Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Don't fix his insecurity, it's probably the main reason he has a great body. One of my ex's ruined me by always proclaiming she wouldn't mind if I gained 20 pounds. =/ I actually started to believe it and cared less which led to . I would actually prefer him to put on a bit. Along with big noses I prefer my men to carry a bit of fat not loads but a bit... its so I can plump them up like a cushion and hug them while watching TV. But don't tell anyone I am that smushy eh would ruin my hard gal image!!! It was the blowjob question! I can't help but wonder if you actually chose from one of the dick pictures. "Ah... now this penis looks sweet and sociable!" Cheeky beggar. I have no idea what his looks like! 2
Author Toodaloo Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 I also feel privileged that the troll chose me to try and wind up... Makes one feel all warm and fuzzy inside that you can be seen as that "special". Cup of tea anyone? 4
Mrin Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Would a haircut or facial hair "de-cousinize" him? If so, start with the "I just love men who have ________. Drives me crazy!" He'll get the point.
writergal Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Would a haircut or facial hair "de-cousinize" him? If so, start with the "I just love men who have ________. Drives me crazy!" He'll get the point. Ask him to get a nose job and dye his hair or grow it long. Otherwise, I don't think you'll be able to "de-cousinize" this guy. Haha! You may want to add this line to your profile, "I just love men who don't look like my cousin [cousin's name]. Drives me crazy!"
Gary S Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I'm betting you'll never look at your cousin the same way again
SawtoothMars Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Cheeky beggar. I have no idea what his looks like! You should start a new thread and solicit advice on how to find out.
preraph Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 The better you know him, the less he will look like your cousin. It's a little alarming he needs reassurance because of his looks. I realize this isn't a representative sample and maybe insecure guys were too scared to come near me when I was younger, but the one guy I knew he needed assurance about his looks was an addict with impotence problems because of it and a con artist and possibly a sociopath. 1
Teraskas Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Oh god...in all honesty, I sincerely hope this thread isn't about me. XD I can certainly relate to it. More on topic: I had that in a previous relationship. She reminded me of my cousin...a little TOO much. It didn't end well. (Well, for other reasons, but not because of looks. ^^)
Omei Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 But... 1. He really isn't very confident and constantly looks for validation that he is good looking After time this should stop he'll get tired of asking and you'll get tired of giving the same answer. Good luck! body of a teenager? yum!
somedude81 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 who wants the body of a kid? yuck Didn't you know? 14 year old boys have great bodies! I would love to see the response if a guy made this thread. "She has the body of a teenager." Oh the vile that would come out Good luck Toodaloo!
