I noticed that for a certain number of women they make a note that that they love heels. Then they use this material invention to exclude who is shorter or not that much taller than them in it.

Heels are a woman's go to method to try to exclude short guys when in reality most guys short or tall don't give a damn about it. I've heard women lie about dating short guys who didn't like them in heels when they never gave these guys a chance.

If you use a fashion accessory to validate requirements, not preferences when it comes to dating...you are both shallow and petty.

The hard realization of that is that it makes lots of women OLD practically invisible to you.

Its best to avoid these types. Even if they are most of what you see.

In my experience there are just as many short women who only date tall guys as there are tall women who only date tall guys.

I think it's just best not worry about a woman's height at all unless she's a few inches taller than you.

I've just created a new profile on POF, using my avatar pic from here as my main photo. I'm keeping it lighthearted, so here is my profile description:

"Well apparently I'm supposed to talk about me, my hobbies, interests etc. but everybody writes the same so let's start off by being frank. I'm confident and spontaneous, but also a good guy. When I say good guy I mean genuine and honest, not Mr Meek who apologises for breathing too loudly. I make sure my friends and family are happy and that elderly neighbours have enough Werther's Originals! Sometimes I even let the odd car out at junctions. I also leave the toilet seat down – as standard. Even Jesus didn't do that!"

I'm making sure to only message women who are over 40 (my age), under 5ft 2 (I'm 5ft 8) and who are 'A Few Extra Pounds' body type (I train 4-5 times a week.)

My profile is four days old. Messages sent: 12. Replies: 0
Number of unsolicited messages: 1 - not sure if mid-transition gender swap! These stats aren't even the tip of the iceberg, any man on here will know that the zero will not rise much in the coming months!

This isn't 'whining' or 'giving off bad vibes' - this is how it is!

Have you thought that these women may sense your 'entitlement' and so delete you. You're entitled to a date because you've 'lowered' your standards, what else do you think you're entitled to? Sex? PMSL. Your profile is as empty as those that say 'just ask' and yes your reason will be that it doesn't matter what you put. Well wake up, because it does matter to that one woman who is looking for you. You put zero effort in and you will get either rubbish or zero back and that's fine, just stop complaining about it.

I have no idea what you are going on about. I'm asking Moy if he is planning on dating these women. He gave specific traits that, to me, implied that he should have some success there based on how he looks and he's surprised when he gets no takers as if he is ENTITLED to a date with these women.

OMG - What a complete jack** . girl in boots was a pet name which referred to the fact that I was a qualified electrician and I wore stonking steel toe capped boots.

I can't walk more than 10 yards in heels so no I don't love high heels. And " there are just as many short women who only date tall guys as there are tall women who only date tall guys." is your stereotype or are you one of those few people who personally know all 30,000 of their Facebook friends individually to be able to make that claim?

It depends what minority you are.

ALL men will have far more difficulty online than women (for women, it's pretty much a catalog for men).

However, if you are a short and/or Asian male, don't even both doing online dating. There's really no point because you won't get anywhere.

As a educated Latin-American woman this is my opinion of Tinder....In Washington, DC....

Tinder here is very "white" and by "white" I mean frat bros and sorority sisters who now work for congress, lobbying, contracting, etc. Your House of Cards ****. Do expensive Pilates classes, love Starbucks and asking "so who do you work for?"

The educated minority men are in "dating-up" heaven.

And the white men I have dated, are into "experimenting" with those minority women who are rumored to be beasts in bed and too hot to handle. The fetish of the month.
