kaikai Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Though I have been keeping to NC..... today I bumped into my ex whilst purchasing food, my stomach sunk and at first I attempted to just walk away she came to speak to me and started talking about the past. We have been split just a few weeks but i stopped contact around 6 days ago and I have struggled big time. She spoke about a lot.... mainly how I dissapointed her, about 9 months ago she was diagnosed with a condition that meant she was put on long term steroid use which did take its toll. She was never one for expressing how she felt or what she was going through, though always seemed to express okay when I had done something wrong. I had to stop her mid conversation and ask what was it she wanted or expected from me and she replied "a friendship" as she wasn't in any head space to have a relationship. I appreciate her honesty which I cannot fault her for, though I cannot understand for one moment how she thinks that would work. Last week she wanted a conversation about working things out and after everything we have both been through I felt space was needed before it got worse. I really wish we hadn't talked and was left with us both saying there is nothing left to say. Which in one way reassures me that she wont contact me but in another it has made it so much harder. I really love her but I know it doesn't work Just needed to rant sorry 1

BlackbirdSong Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I'm sorry. I fear the day I run into my ex in person.
xpaperxcutx Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 If I even see my ex, i wouldn't say. I pretend he's a complete stranger. 1
