justacollegekid Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 (edited) So in general, i'm not a very flirty person with people I don't know so I just suck at dating. But I met this guy online and we met in person, and he was so sweet and I liked him a lot. We got a drink and I got my own for the first one. We had a back and fourth conversation for about 40 minutes. It wasn't flirty or deep, but it wasn't awkward and we had a lot in common. Then apparently because I am a lightweight I started to feel lightheaded an hour in (AFTER ONE DRINK UGH) and I kind of started spacing out (not in a weird way I just started looking around). He offered to either buy me another drink or leave, and he suggested we go out again this weekend but wasn't specific. But he didn't text me right after (I heard the guy is supposed to do that). I really don't know how this went because that could have been him just being nice. I really liked him but idk. How long until I know he wasn't interested? Should I start a conversation with him two days from now? I feel like it was a decent date, but not wow, and towards the last like 10 minutes I might have messed it up and given him the wrong signal I wasn't interested by looking around. I was! I was just nervous and starting to get tipsy lol if anything I was just signaling this date is up for now. I would still like to get to know him more though. Edited March 14, 2015 by justacollegekid
somedude81 Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 If you want to contact him, send something like "Hey (name) I had a great time last night. We should go out again!" And then wait. Don't contact him again after that without him getting back to you. If he likes you, he'll ask you out again.
Gary S Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 If he does not set up another date within a week, it probably won't go anywhere.
