elliecoffee Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I'm crushing on my sport center's coach. He's in charge of gymnastics and weight-lifting technique classes and he also trains the other instructors and checks on them. I got to meet him about seven months ago when he was teaching a technique class and he was really nice. Since then, he would from time to time drop by my workout hour and would give me some random advice always with a smile on his face and most importantly, respectfully. He's working individually with four guys and a girl, preparing them for some competition but if I have any doubt, he turns his attention to me only. I also caught him looking at me several times and paying attention to my workout and to the weight I'm lifting because once I'm done, sometimes he approaches me and asks me questions about it or gives me more advice. Does he do this with anyone else? No. I decided to ask him for a technique class and he said yes. When I asked how much would it cost, he said he would gladly teach me a class for free. During the class, he was extremely respectful, encouraging and attentive. It was also the first time he called me 'beautiful'. He told me we could continue to work together three times a week, again free of charge, until I decided I liked his training sessions. He also told me he would make sure to take care of me while training. Two weeks from now, I feel we've become a little bit more confortable with each other. It is easier for me to talk to him and I'm pretty sure it's easier for him too. And now every time he says 'hi' or 'goodbye' to me, he holds me by my shoulders so gently, pulls me closer to him just a bit, and kisses me on my cheek. Melts me every time. And even after we said goodbye, he looks for me in the room and then waves goodbye again. I'm a little bit intimidated and a tiny bit scared. So what do you think?
fitnessfan365 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) I'm a personal trainer, and don't know of any in the industry that work with someone long term for free..LOL Not that he's a trainer, but it's in the same vein. Men show interest with their actions and he's acting interested IMO. He's complimented you physically. He's always very attentive. He's willing to work with you long term for free just to spend time with you. He goes out of his way to say goodbye and get your attention. But YOU are going to have make the first move. If word got out that he initiated on a student, client, etc then it could ruin his professional rep. So after class, follow him outside and give him your number saying you'd love to get a drink with him sometime. Edited March 13, 2015 by fitnessfan365 1
preraph Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 If you're interested in him and IF he's not attached to someone already, since he trained you for free it would be a very nice gesture to return the favor by cooking dinner for him.
